WHAT'S WITH MY HAIR???

Nothing much to talk about this week.

(Disclaimer: The real thing I would like to talk about for this week is all the way below!!!! So scroll down if you wanna just skip the weekly update)

And so it seems, I'll have to entertain you with my plain words. Bear with me ok. Hehe so how has your week been? Fun? Boring? Stressful? Well it's not like you can reply me anyway.. But I hope y'all had a good week. I'm not gonna lie, this week felt as though I just finished exams and had my feelings go on a roller coaster ride.. Yet it's only been 7 days.  Finished up gen ed presentation only to find out that we have a new CA component. Oh well.. I guess the assignments just keep coming.

I do have visuals to update though! HAHAHA ok so this week we finally had the chance to try out Dance Central at the main library! Wanted to play Fifa with my wifey but the game was reserved way before we could even get our hands on it. Oh well. 

Too overly enthusiastic about this game. 

Took some pics of Rachel and Lynn playing the game as well but I'll upload them another time! I think we really need to step up our game and reserve games early or something. 

These were taken right after my presentation! Speaking of which, idk if it went well or not.. I just felt awkward half the time because I kinda forgot what I analysed for the assignment. After all, Gen Ed seems more like "lepak period" to me. 

I would now like to call us the zombie gang because we all play Zombie Tsunami. It's a really fun game plz play it. You won't regret, I assure you life-long happiness. HAHAHHA except when you die (in the game).

BTW PLS FOCUS ALL YOUR ATTENTION ON RACHEL'S FACE. ABSOLUTELY PRICESSLESS

I guess nobody can control my level of retardness. Is that even a word? Nevermind, as long as you understand. I was too tired in the mrt that I decided to sit down and say hi to whoever walked by.

So on Tuesday my "Kukutallians" decided that it was funny to tell the barista to write my name as "Kukully". We had a great laugh though. Next shall be kukujiao, kukumalu, etc. Any suggestions? LOL

Sorry for skipping around! My pictures and thoughts are all over the place, so I couldn't really put them orderly. Anyway I love you very much Angeline. We are one!!! We are literally so similar that our actions are almost in sync all the time. hehehe

Went to Rachel's crib after school on Tues. I guess she was really excited judging by her facial expression.

This bird caught my attention during class. It's so fat and pretty. Close friends would know how much I love to run after birds and perhaps catch them. This was the perfect target!!!! Unfortunately.. I was in class.

This is my main topic for this week's blog post, and it's something that I just wanna clarify. 

My hair. 

Okay I've been getting quite a number of questions on askfm regarding how I do my hair or whether it's natural or I use any products blah blah blah blah blah.. tbh I don't even know why my hair's even a topic of interest, it's just.. hair. Plus it's not even as nice as people you see on hairporn(twitter) or something. But I guess it really is the best asset that I have. I'll have to trim it soon though.

and I am now here to answer your questions!!!!!!! I am mama Chantally for today. This is gonna be a pretty short segment but I have nothing better to talk about too HAHA

Earthlings, this is how my hair looks like whenever I'm at home. Why does it look better than when I'm out? Simple. AIRCON. I don't move around much and idk maybe it's a curse or something. I wish it did look very much like this when I go out though. 

My hair looks more or less like this whenever I'm out.. Flat and ugly. hahaha

Okay so the first question is:

"Have you ever straightened your hair?"

The answer is, NO. Unless you count rebonding in 2009. I hate straightening my hair.. It makes my hair look so flat and icky. I prefer it with a little bit more volume but I'm too lazy to use volumizing products as well. 

Second question: 

"Did you ombre your hair?"

The answer's half yes and half no. You see, I initially planned to bleach my entire head of hair altogether. But because my hair was too long, I had to use two boxes and as a result I bleached the bottom half of my hair first while preparing the other box. During this course the bottom half of my hair turned out to be lighter than the top half. I guess I'm happy with it though!

This is my hair when it's curly. I wouldn't say there's much change in length because the curls aren't that bouncy/round/exaggerated or whatever. 

Third + fourth question:
"Do you use a straightener or curler? Do the curls stay for long?"

My answer to the first question is, I use a straightener! It's from L'oreal and it's pretty good I would say. It's small too, so you wouldn't find it a hassle to bring around! It's actually the one that came free wit some hair shampoo set thing. My answer to the second question is, the curls don't stay for long at all unless I put a lot of hair spray. I don't know why my hair's so stubborn.. But for my case, without hairspray it would only stay on for an hour max. Otherwise it can last me for a full day with spray.

The strangest thing is, most of the hair questions I get are to post pics of myself in a ponytail.

Why.

WHY?????

It's just me in a ponytail I don't see how it matters or helps you in any way.. I mean it's just using a hairtie to pull back your hair right? That I will never understand, but thanks for wanting to see me in a ponytail anyway. 

To sum it all up, I don't regularly curl my hair because it's really drying + I don't own any heat protectant so my hair's basically screwed if I curl it everyday. How you see me on regular days outside and in photos is how my hair usually really looks like. If it looks diff in any way it's probably because of the wind or my hair just decided to be good just for that day. And yes.. I had to bleach my hair just to make it this colour because my hair doesn't like to cooperate with me. Even though it's a dark colour, it would've remained black if I decided to use a non-bleach colorant.

That aside, to all you curious souls out there, here's the "secret" to my photos. 

I use Mextures! It's a really good app for all you filter hungry peeps. Plus, you can also layer them however you like! Have fun :D
